Mobile Website Redirect Code


In order for people to view your site, you need to complete the following steps:

  • Create a subdomain for the mobile website.
  • Insert the redirect source code between the <head> tags of the full website, preferrably above any other scripts.

    Insert the following line:

    <script src="//magnastar.net/redirect-scripts/m.yourdomain-name.com.redirect.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

    *Make sure to replace "yourdoman-name.com" with your actual domain name.

After you've inserted the redirect code and created the subdomain, the mobile webiste should function. If you are unable to view the mobile website, look below for the common problems and the solutions when handling the sub domain and/or redirect code.

Common Redirect Issues

If you are trying to view the mobile website on your phone and all you see is the full website, you most likely have a redirect code issue.The usual culprit is a competing script. Competing scripts can cause the redirect code not to function.

Solution: We strongily recommend placing the redirect code snippet right below the <head> tag.


Common Sub Domain Issues

If you are trying to view the mobile website and you recieve an "Unable to view website" error, most likely you have a sub domain issue. Double check the following:

  • Is the sub domain "m."?
  • Is the domain name spelled correctly?
  • Is the IP address correct?
